:Yesterday I bought a Mustang. But not an old one so it's alright. I got rid of the Avenger and got a 91 Mustang GT. It is a really nice and clean car. This will now be my daily driver and save money on payments and insurance, Leaving more money for the Maverick and the project 50 Tudor. These Mustangs sure do ride and handle nice. I'm trying to resist buying some performance parts for it, it is bone stock now. It is blue with silver on the bottom. I'll try to have pics later this week.
Good choice! I just added my 6th Mustang to the stable, which includes 2 Comets - the 73 GT was ordered new w/ EVERY option including spec order paint and it only has 250K miles, and the 77 I got to replace my girlfriend's rice grinder. It was a 46K mile car w/ AT, PS, PDB, AC, 302 and it won a trophy at the St Pete Pier. Not bad for $700. The Mustangs are 1- 64 1/2 conv, 1- 64 1/2 HT, 1- 65 GT conv, 1- 66 HT, 1- 68 conv, and an 87 GT. The 87 has given us the most problems!! |
