: Just wondering, manual always felt like driving a big boat to me, not too responsive.

it works better manual, its tighter and more responsive.
My power assist sucked anyway, it never worked right, I would have had to rebuild the entire system.

Also, whether you like manual or power steering depends incredibly on your driving style.
