:Ok I just hooked up a oil prussure gge and all the air is out of the line and the gage reads 41 at idel is that good or bad or ok its on a 250 six cylender I heard that you can tell the tack like 10 is a grand or something so is my engin running a 4100 thats kida high I think any idea, and also any more sites for mav. parts and such let me know ..Jason, the oil pressure is fine. You cannot tell anything about (RPM) from an oil pressure gauge because the oil pump has a pressure relief valve that limits pressure to whatever the spring tension is as well being sensitive to oil temp.when the oil is cold.
