:I'm in the process of buying parts for my 302, and i can't decide on a carb! I am going to have a 306, windsor heads (1.84 in), a mild cam, flat tops....and hopefully more to come. I know i'll need a 600cfm 4bbl... Holley? Edelbrock? (Demon, if i could afford it!). I have about $150 to spend for a rebuilt carb. Vacuum or mechanical secondaries?

To add more insight,I would only go with a double pumper if you are going to the strip and run with a higher stall converter assuming your auto, to take better advantage of the cam, gears and tires.
