While reading from the other board, I had a sudden revelation about the cowl vent problems everyone has been addressing of late! I understand that this is a prob especially for u fellas up North. However, I am a living testament to the fact that a leaking windshield seal, can and does allow water to leak into the car, and some of u may have less problem than u may think. I replaced my windshield recently, using a used seal, and as a result, I get to do it all over again. We had rain out here in West Texas last week, ( aint that odd) and my brand new carpet got soaked. I saw the windshield leaking as it occurred so I know that was a problem. However, just to make certain, that my Cowl vents weren't leaking also, I fired up the water hose and got in the car upside down and made dang sure no water was gettin in that way!! Just something to consider guys!!
