:the other day it was rev'in up between the 1-2 and 2-3, so i got under the car and checking the vac mod, the rubber hose was WAY bloated so i took some line and redid it. Now 1-2 is great but it still wants to rev up between 2-3. ITs really bad when ya floor it as i am sure i tach 5000 to 6000 for a second. I tryed finding a new vac modulator at the parts store but all they have is the push in type - mine is the screw in. Anyone have any part #'s or ideas? I got a 4bbl manifold and am gonna get a carb off ebay soon, so any vac leaks up top will be solved. What i am dreading and have heard is it could be the pump? I have never had a c4 tranny do this before. The tranny fluid is bright red and smells clean so i am not understanding what is going on. i have a shift kit ready to go in too, but don't wanna install it until the tranny shifts "normal".... thanks for the suggestions. : : : :David :1974 Grabber 302
