I have now seen two 1972 Maverick Sprint(Olympic commemorative with USA symbol on rear 1/4) vehicles on the street. Both appeared to be daily drivers. How many cars were made(est. O.K.)? I also know the Pinto, and Mustang were available with this option in 1972 as well. I know the Mustang cars are rare with less than 60 made and fewer existing today, but what about the Mavericks? And even more interesting, how many Pintos would there have been(no need to answer, just food for thought)? I am very interested in these vehicles so I ask anyone who has info on them to please post it.
