Not to disparage any of the events or people lost but I understand where RR is coming from. Our Airport security has been a joke to say the least and now we are suffering a bad case of closing the barn doors after the horses have escaped. I remember the days of flying in and out of Heathrow (London) where it was EXPECTED to have your luggage opened and searched before getting anywhere near the gates. The cabin doors should ONLY be accessable to the on duty flight crew and I for one would more than welcome properly armed security on my flights.
*sigh* I'm SUPPOSED to fly out of Seattle on Tuesday.... British Airways has still suspended all US flights. |
