Traction bars aren't the problem, the thrid member is. You nned to install a posi unit, with either the 3.00 or 3.55 gears in it. You don't have a posi just by the gravel and wet road description you provided. Not the loose nut behind the wheel, just rearend needs help now. Tires sound good, driving style good, posi unit needed to make HP shared by both wheels now.
