Ive been wondering why is it that the '75 250c.i. engine only puts out 72 horsepower as a factory rating? this is actually the least horsepower year this engine/trans combo had. i was wondering if that is because of the carb setup that year or something else, because i have a carter yfa and ive seen other 250s with diff. ones. and it only seems logical that if the carb is restricting me then i would be able to upgrade to the setup from a different year and gain hp. think it'll work?
