::Since I decided to restore my Stallion to showroom condition (which may be a feat considering my limited experience), I took a chance ad contacted Ford through their customer service to see what info I could get from them. Their research people are sending me data by referencing the v.i.n. and getting info from the production line as well as how many Stallions were made in '76. I should have a full spec sheet within the next 2 weeks. They may be sending more that that, I'm not sure. They also referred me to the National Automobile Hitory Collection at the Detroit Public Library for access to pictures, etc. They have a lot of stuff on every car made. The phone number for Ford is 1-800-392-3673, 8a-11p, M-F Eastern time,8a-6p Saturday. E-mail is crcforddiv@customersupportctr.com. The Detroit Library NAHC is 313-833-1456.
