:I used to manage a Midas Muffler shop and the only thing I ever found to get rid of the smell you refer to is to replace the converter...I know of no solution to unplug one...other than cleaning the internals guts out of it completely. Of course that's illegal ya know and not that easy of a chore to do either. Of course I wouldn't really know how hard it is to do since it IS illegal and I would never do anything like that. :Ray : :______________________________________________________________ : ::I was wondering if anybody has used the stuff that you pour into your gas tank that is supposed to clean out a plugged cat. converter? What kind is best if any of them work ok? I am tired of driving and smelling that rotten egg smell whenever I "get on it". That smell does mean plugged up right? Not Plugged and/or shot. |
