They are probably referring to older model Comets. I doubt seriously that headers from a 66 Comet would fit a 72 Comet or Maverick because of the big difference in body styles but the carb and manifold would work just fine as long as we're talking about a 289 or 302 engine. The later model Comet which looks like the Maverick is a total different car than the early one.
Ray ___________________________________________________________ :Can I use modifications (headers, carb, intake manifold) that are for a Comet? I have a 73 Mav and I am going to be rebuilding the engine soon and I saw that JC Whitney has unbelievably low prices for that stuff but they only have them listed for Comets. Just wondering if I can use them? Thanks
