Well, I went to the Mustang show at Atlanta Dragway, mostly because I was already in town, and turned out they had a chassis dyno there. Unfortunately, I had swapped my smaller Holley 600 back on the car on Friday for better MPG on the long trip. The car runs much stronger with the 650 carb, but the numbers were pretty good. I ran with open headers and it definitely drew some attention.
241 HP, 281 ft/lbs. Using the 20% rule (9" rearends are very inefficient) thats right around 300 HP and 345 ft/lbs of torque at the flywheel. Not to shabby. I really didn't know what to expect.
I'm heading the the dragstrip on Friday so we'll see what she'll do.
