:I still need to know where I can purchase a flywheel and clutch and pressure plate for a 72 Grabber w/302 and 3spd manual tranny.I looked at the local salvage yards for a flywheel, but no luck.Mine is FUBAR'ed.I also need to find a good quality clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing for around 150.oo bucks.Any ideas??My wife said if I don't get this car back on the road in the next three weeks, it's history!I don't think so, but am not taking any chances. Please, some help would be appreciated.Thanks,Arnie.
. . .Arnie,a range in price of 86 to 125 for the 10" clutch and disc assembly depending on which type you need. A diaphram or a long type. Diaphram type has radial fingers all pointing toward the throwout bearing. The log type has 3 or 4 arms that the throwout bearing works on. They can be obtained from www.discountautoparts.com in several days shipping time. As for the flywheel, I will continue to look for a source unless someone else finds one for you. Ken |
