  • I bought this car in 2011 as a father, son project. It originally came with a I6. We started to build a 302 the winter 2011/2012. The original 302 we built was a 1977 302 bored .060 over with Keith Black dome pistons, Pro star aluminum heads, comp cams "big mother thumper" cam, Weiand Stealth intake, Holley 600 "street Avenger" carb. Last year on the way to the MCCI National Round Up we melted a piston and that was the end of that motor.
It now has a 351w bored .030 over. I bought the short block from Summit Racing, It now has a set of new Street musle heads from Blue Print engines witch brought the compression to around 9.5. Weiand stealth intake, MSD Pro Billed distributor, Holly 650DP carb, Howard's cam and a TCI Street torque converter.
