A coworker shamed me into working on my car again after a year of not touching it . I just lost interest after installing my shorties and it becoming a nightmare to get them to work . So I worked on it last night for a few . Maybe I'll drive it this summer lol .

At times, when I want to quit, I know I can count on my dear co-workers to shame me back into it :rofl2:

One thing that really got me going again was when a coworker said to me, "No offense, Dan, but in my opinion where every Maverick belongs is the junkyard."

It's probably the meanest thing I have ever heard anyone say about Mavericks, so I wanted to prove him wrong.

I think he meant every 4-door Maverick.

He carpools with his wife in their Escalade. He also has the cleanest '68 GMC longbed lowrider I have ever seen.

What he said took me by surprise because he's normally a nice and considerate guy and he was my mentor at work pretty much. He just has a thing against Ford, which is annoying.

I think a break is healthy if you get frustrated, but it sounds like break time is over! .... good going.

I tend to do a bunch of things on mine, and then get bogged down with other projects (kitchen remodel right now). Then I am really fresh to work on the car some more.

I like motivation.. Hard to find that around here..
As for Mr. Chevy. I find those types annoying and tend to speak jiberish about all they know, which is everything.

To be honest he is a really good guy ! His 57 chevy is sweet too , low and has a 500 cubic in small block in it . I needed the kick in the A$$ to get going on my car . So it's all good fellas .

I always loose momentum when I hit a snag, I'm a car guy not a mechanic or fabricator so I get frustrated easy... A break from the project is a good way to think through the problem... Having a friend shame you back to the project, is a car guy support team...lmao NOW GET BACK TO WORK!!!
