Quarter glass removal from the frame?

    i got amazing glass on one set, amazing chrome frame on another set...how do i remove the glass to swap them over? i was looking at it and it seems like it should just pop out but i didn't want to break anything till i found out for sure. thanks, hopefully i can do this tomorrow. :Handshake

    I've never had any luck removing the chrome trim, I always bugger it up...:cry:

    You won't be able to move the glass.....but you can move the trim.

    And with this new information I now have... I might just do the same and bugger it all up lol. Gotta give it a shot because the one set of glass is toast.

    Take the frames to a glass shop. They took my glass out for about $30. And will charge about the same to put it back with a new seal.

    I took mine apart to paint the frames and to polish the glass in order to get rid of minor scratches and mineral deposits around the edges.

    I managed to get the stainless trim off without any major damage. You have to be patiend and use small screwdrivers to pry around the edge.
