I see what the difference w/ the b4/after. Don't know how that might work w/ my pwr steering pump, but wud seemingly work w/0 issue installing a monte carlo bar; what Allen wants. The bracket might be gud for a tech write-up! Also, might be something to consider an addition to your AOD trans cross member?

Everett; the Monte Carlo bar on my car is the topoRanger bar he offers. it fits perfectly, no mods required. the bracket is an aftermarket one that came with the a/c system. Frank and I modded the beacket to set 5" lower to accomodate the M/C bar. My car doesn't have power steering so don't know how that would work. Doesn't look like enough room to me. but, looks like an easy bracket to make with the right tools and knowhow. Sorry I haven't been on here much. Lost my Dad last week, so been very busy with that. Hope things are fine on your end.

I used the some a/c set up on my f100. I used both the tensioner and lower idler ( under a/c pump) to stop belt chatter.
As for mounting bracket I made my own 3/8" square plate 4 taped holes to mount plate to factory a/c bracket and 4 tabs to mount a/c pump to bracket . It's necessary to pay attention to belt alignment and make sure the belt is running straight and true.

Earl and I have talked about taking his and using it as a template to make a patteren. Him now living in S.C. has made that almost impossible.

Frank, if you need the car, we can get it when I come to get the windshield tended to. Just need the measurements, right.
