Wow.. thanks Greg!.. some more "red top" pictures for my archive! Might not be quite as rare as my GT but I sure bet there weren't that many combos built like that either. On the other hand.. who knows.. maybe it's even rarer? Would love to see the Marti on that one too.

It's only $40 and you have the VIN... Not going to get much easier than that...

Yes, it needs quite a bit of work but I like it a lot! It looks like Jeff Portman's car except his has the Ginger interior.

Not sure if the Comet GT on e-bay is medium yellow gold (golden rod) or just gold, hard to tell.
Asking a lot of money for the condition it's in.

I couldn't tell either! I guess we'll just have to start sanding yours down so I can see exactly what Goldenrod is supposed to look like!! :D

Yours was not on the list William. Thanks for sharing! This brings up a good point, though. I'm not sure if everyone on here realizes that the VIN List can be found under "Resources" along the top of your screen. On the Resources page, there is a link under "Categories" on the left to "Maverick/Comet VIN List". Follow that link and it will list the individual years. Clicking on an individual year will bring up all the VINs that have been collected for that model year. It's fun to scroll through them, check to see if yours is already there, and to see if someone else has one close to yours...
