    I have a 1976 Maverick Stallion, and 85 More Mavericks and Comets in Inventory.
    The new parts planned for the next run,, Please let us know if we have over looked any important parts that are major on your list,, Other then what is in production at this time,,, We would like to get our game plan in order for the next round of parts,,

    Trying to see if I can revive a 10 year old thread. Did anyone end up making spoilers for the big bumper cars? Just got my hands on a 74 Comet after previously having a 77 and 75 Maverick.

    Haha no it doesn't...but at this point the small bumper conversion is going to cost as much as I paid for the whole car.

    I don't see a problem with big bumpers. My first car was '76 Stallion "with" big bumpers, and before that I never really noticed Mavericks, so "comparing" the bumpers wasn't even in the equation...

    That's a beautiful car! What hood scoop is that?

    My first car was a 77 Maverick and at the time I didn't like the big bumpers. Now I don't mind them as much; the rear is like having a tailgate to sit on. I really like those grabber spoilers though...

    It's the Mercury Comet scoop... always felt it "fit" the hood so well...

    By the way, I don't own this car anymore, I sold it to Kevin Hicks who lives north of Chicago (I think he's a member of this forum?). His story was the same as mine, his first car was a Stallion. I still own a yellow '76 Maverick though (and yes, it has big bumpers).

    Miguel, what was your starting point for the spoiler? Did you start with a spoiler for something else and make it work or did you start from scratch? It fits the car real nice!
