Looking into getting an aftermarket Grabber hood. I was wondering what other's experience with them are? Do they line up like an original? Are they worth the money? I don't want to buy something for it not to fit, as some AM part do.

Dynacorn seems to be the one that pops up the most.

Dynacorn is fantastic. The hood is almost an exact replica. The only difference is the lines of the hood are slightly more accented. Unless you really know your stuff or have a Nice original to compare it to you will never know the difference. They fit perfectly and are well worth the money. You can use original or the reproduction scoops in them.

Ooh! That's what I like to hear. Will it fit all Maverick years?

Yep it will fit any year. Be aware that most of the time when you buy the hood you will have to buy the scoops separate. You can usually find a brand new one for around $500? Not a bad price considering there is no rust work needed.

Saw it on Mustangs Unlimited I believe for around $500 and the scoops are about $150.

Sounds about right. Watch out for shipping costs.

Thankfully my state doesn't have sales tax and it looks like orders over $50 ship for free. But since it's shipped via Freight, I remain skeptical.

I have a dynacorn grabber hood as well, and am very pleased. I found a place locally and picked it up, shipping one is not cheap.
