Hello everyone I’m new to the forum and new to Mavericks. I have a 1970 and I’m replacing everything in the front end, the idea is to make this my daily. My question is has anyone used the csrp disc brake kit an if so was it worth it or should I look into a different kit?

I installed crsp kit on 70 mustang and the wilwood kit on 72 comet.
    Both kits worked great!

    Both winners over drum!

I have been running their kit on my car for 7+ years now no issues at all!

    :Welcome:

Yes, I have bought several of their kits and some of the other parts they offer - all top shelf and 100% happy with it all. Just make sure you buy the right kit. I used the Granada based swap #2.3 - but they have many kits depending on things like power steering, power brakes, ect.

Thank you, when I contacted them I was told the 3.4m single piston but all the sizes will fit, do you recall if that’s what you used? Or if there is a more suitable one?

They have expanded their kit offerings since I bought mine. If you look on their web site - both the Swap 2 and Swap 3 are listed for the Maverick / Comet - but they go into greater detail now on manual or power brakes and steering.

The kits I bought are the Swap 2.3 for manual steering seen below - but it is best to call them (as you did) so they can supply you the best kit for your car. I'll go back and edit my post to be less confusing.
