Finished putting down new Acoustishield, ordered some paint for the interior, and set the new carpet out in preparation for fitting and trimming.

Wanted a center console but didn’t want to pay $150 so I made one. My first attempt... not perfect but looks good in the old Mav... made it for about $30. 350D37FC-64E7-4B12-9E0A-9DE42336493E.jpeg

Where was the extra material added? What was reason for increased length of pedal? Have any pic b4 it was painted/coated? I'm guessing this was done to bring/reduce pedal height to floor? Interesting!

Finally put the replacement fuel pump on and got the car running again- YAY!

Then spent some time using plasti-fix and got my glove box dash section glued back together. It had broken into 3 pieces when it came out. Hint, try to leave the steel lower cross bar on the plastic if you are taking this part out to support the thin areas. Found some space above the a/c heater box to hid the ECM, so will get that all tucked in before getting the dash back together. Have to do some cleanup on the cracks and will paint it before it goes back in anyway.

Plasti-fix works great (thanks BBMS18 for the suggestion), may start fixing a few other things with it as time permits. Even used it to remake a couple of tabs on the dash section that were long missing. Think it will work on my grille to remake the tabs that attach to the hood latch as those are the only broken parts on the grill.
