I checked the diagram for the 72 with no problem thanks for the valuable info. I almost bought a diagram off the bay for $25 glad Im a cheap azz and looked around lol
There are a few diagrams archived here ... at the MMB and maverick.to 1970 Ford Maverick Wiring & Vacuum Diagrams
Hi, They are not actually gone, but my website is down, and has been for awhile. I will try and get it working again...in the meantime I can send any diagrams I have directly to anyone who needs them. Just let me know what you are looking for. Thanks! Mark
Mark, I'm looking for wiring and vacuum diagrams for a 72 Maverick (Grabber and Non-Grabber.) My email is itee203@att.net. Thanks in advance for anything that you send over. John
Hi John, I've uploaded here what I've got for 1972. The wiring diagrams come from old Michell manuals are are much more basic than the factory diagrams...but are probably better than nothing! I also found some tune up specs as well. Unfortunately I don't have vacuum diagrams going back to '72 for some reason, but I did find one for 1975, the earliest one I have. I know the vacuum systems changed a lot over the years and this might not be helpful, but I uploaded it in case it is. Mark
I've got my website back up and running. My collection of wiring diagrams can be accessed here: http://www.maverickcomet.com/Wiring/Maverick.asp
I've got the website back up again. Not everything works...most of the code is about 20 years old...but the wiring diagrams should now be accessible again. http://www.maverickcomet.com/Wiring/Maverick.asp
Thanks Mark. This is very helpful information. Are hard copies available? I printed out what I need for now, but would like to add quality diagrams to go with factory manuals. Also, when I purchased my Maverick second hand, the owner's manual that was in my glovebox looks like it was put together by a 1960s elementary school secretary. Do you think it is the original or ??? I guess the TRS80 wasn't available when this car was produced.
