I got a new toy...well not a toy yet, I don’t have the input cables. Right now it’s just something to look at while it is collecting dust. My son was doing an electrical job at a storage unit and saw this sitting in the parking lot and got talking to the guy who bought the unclaimed storage. He gave the guy $5 and they threw it in the back of the truck. Even came with the cart, an 89 page operation/service manual and 90 page assembly manual. It is a Heathkit 12” Solid-State Ignition Analyzer Model CO-2500. The date on the manual says copyright 1975.

Did you ever find or make the cable and get it working?

Nope...ain't done a thing with it since I took this picture except moved it from house garage to shop in back yard. I did notice a few wires got chewed up by mice.

Thanks for responding. I recently purchased a Heathkit CO-2600 Ignition Analyzer. It's similar to yours and I need the dimensions of your cart so I can make one for it. I was wondering if you scanned a copy of your manuals. I need an Operators & Assembly, manual, as well as a schematic and it looks like yours would work.

I hope you rekindle interest in restoring your machine. I think there's another in Europe and that's it. The Heathkit forum shows there's a total of four of my version.

I didn't scan any of the manuals.
The tabletop is 19”x23” three quarter inch particle board.
The back is 2.5”x23” three quarter inch plywood.

The sides are 2.5”x19.75” three quarter inch plywood.
There’s a metal tube about 4.5 inches from the back wall to keep things from sliding down the 19* angle tabletop. This tube is slightly longer than the shelf (I’m guessing 1/2 in.) and will require drilling 1/4 or 3/8 in. recess pockets in the side panels to hold the tube in place.

Front legs are 29 inches long... (wo/caster)
Rear legs are 24 inches long...(wo/caster)

Center of Leg braces are 7.75 inches from the ground...(wo/caster)
    Casters are 3 inch.
I will try and get you photos

Thank you! What is the tube outside diameter? I have some steel folding chairs that would love a second life as a cart. They have an outside diameter of 0.9".

BTW, The last part arrived today to complete one of the cables. I hooked it up and was able to use it.

The "Stop it from sliding off the cart" tube is 1/2 in. O.D. I call it a tube, it could be solid round stock. I didn't take it apart to look. The legs are 1 inch O.D. tubing.
