I'm finally getting around to replacing gaskets weather stripping etc..., but have hit a road block on the gas tank vent tube grommett. I have a new f-30 gas tank but no luck in finding the grommett. I put the old one in but now it has started to leak when I fill up, and at $2.87 a gallon I need to fill up that gap!!! If you have a answer I could use it, or better yet please send gas money!!!!!LOL

In the area I live in, if you have an issue like that we have one particular hardware store that has drawers and drawers full of the odd sized o-rings and grommet and such. The one in our area I think is a Service Star hardware store Called American Hardware?? Sounds like you need to find the proverbial "American Hardware" in your town and take that old grommet with you and dig through those drawers in the back room.....

edit to add, if you can't find your "American Hardware in your town you could take a REALLY clear picture of the grommet from different sides and include measurements on the picture and I could take it to my American Hardware and look for you... but try the one in your town first... every town has one of these hardware stores you just need to find out where your's is located
