Derrick 3 thumbs up on that awsome hood, I love the cowl hood you sold me and everybody wants to know were I got it, and yes they look excellent on a yellow car. Now I have to decide if I want the Grabber hood.

For those of you out there these hoods look much better in person

I've got three Grabber hoods. I'm saving my pennies for one of the cowl hoods.

Sell 2 of those Grabber hoods and buy the cowl hood.

I would love the Comet GT hood also but I think the Grabber is my best bet. I don't have Pay Pal so is a Postal Money Order cool? I also still have bugs to workout on my 5 speed conversion.

If you think about it, really good stock Grabber hoods go for what he is asking nowadays.
With his hood, you get lighter, nicer looking (IMO), and CF.
Can't beat it with a stick.

I never did like how the factory made the stock hood with potmetal scoops. They look like an afterthought to accomodate mass production and really detract from the design.
Unless you are going for concours Maverick, this is so much cooler.

Sounds to me like you can start work on a modified version now that has a raised center and slightly larger scoops to keep proportion!
That could be the next project!;)
Then you could put one on your car too...

OMG OMG OMG!!!! The cowl hood was a bit overmuch for me, but THIS....
 :drive:   (y) (y)

Dang though, I'm still trying to save up for all the other things I want/need (new headers, exhaust system, carburetor, intake, fixing floorpan, etc etc etc) and now I just have to add another thing (of great immeasurable beauty!!!!) to my list of must haves.

I am never going to have a savings account. Woe.

    But pretty!!!!

I have a perfect Comet hood but do not have the GT hood scoop for it. You are welcome to the hood if you are serious about making the Comet hood with functional GT scoop. Eventually, I plan to try and duplicate the '72 Comet GT I had during the early 80's. I would be interested in buying a CF Comet GT hood when they become available.

I will be contacting you soon for one of your new grabber hoods as well.

Let me know if you are serious about the Comet hood.
