Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
yeah i noticed that they were after i wrote that post but good catch :)

yeah i have seen some differant bases as well... though mavericks also come with three differant ones i think... i have a Standard ones then and LDO one. the both are differant... the sport is that the same as the standard one? i have put a mustang bullet one on my maverick and bolted right on but that was an my LDO car. the fit was really crappy too.

but it sounds like from the most of you guys the tops are all the same.

yeah if you can stop by that would be good to know if they are quality or not.

nah can't do that... also not enough people would want that.

i though of that too... i think there was a maverick posted on here from brazil that had them...

you can actually make your own... just get a sheet of CF and cut it yourself. ;) i can get the CF if need be just let me know...

I think a front valance with some kind of built in spoiler would be killer! I know lots of people always seem to be looking for a front valance. I have one hanging in the garage that would be good for a mold...Derrick....

without Comet now just keeping in touch
Carbon fiber moldings for Halo tops, windshield, Carbon Fiber headlight Buckets? Dash cap, Front air dam,

Not sure why Comets are written off as not enough demand, Why not do a survey for Comet Parts, to see just how much demand there is?

i think i would do valance only... but for now lets get this research on this mirror down.

hum some good ideas.. i like the bucket idea but i would only do that in prepreg carbon and that would be $$$$!

for coments... think about it. how many comet do you see vs mavericks... i'd say i see 40 maverick for ever one comet IF that. remember i'm not writting the off.... you also have to remember i have to recoop my cost for the investment... if no one buys them i lose! people who say that want one are differant then people who actually buy them... ;)

I am sure I will get in trouble for this :D but I wish some people would pressure some boys in Somerset......they may have made a custom set of boomerangs for one said copper car ...if anyone has been to a Round-up in the last 3-4 years, has seen the car and probably never noticed they were not stock....which means they did a good job. :D

OK, back to the subject at hand :thumbs2:

I'll do some talking to them and see what I can have done, I might be able to talk them into doing a couple of sets, but dont hold me to that. It never hurts to ask.

How about a carbon fiber cowl hood (and spoiler set of course) embedded with dark blue kevlar to match the new paint job on my race car project?
Just thought I would mention it again...
    Thanks, Sarah

Sorry, I just got all caught up in the excitement of people telling you what they would like you to build for them, it just came out.

I couldn't find this thread the other night..... :hmmm: I dunno....Anyway- I think you saw my suggestion in the other post about a cowl induction-grabber hood......I think that would be a VERY cool hood and I also think it would sell really well......Maybe a 3 or 4 inch cowl with the grabber scoops molded into each side of the cowl.....Carbon Fiber OR Fiberglass.... :yup: I'd buy either one! Just a thought! Take care! Preston

    Well,
How about fenders or 1/4 's. Everyone keeps buying parts cars for 1/4s fenders and rocker panels. If we had a good source for quality reproduction parts like these (and your parts are great quality items I might add) we would not have to out bid each other on ebay for rust buckets that barely have enough parts to warrant the purchase of the car. I am sure there are reasons not to reproduce these items (cost of materials and so forth) but in opinion these are the parts we need the most. Just my 2 cents.
    Thanks
