well the past few days my dad spent looking over the engine. And what he found and what we put in made my maverick a whole new monster.First of all i bought a new cam i cant rember the size ill get that later. But any way what he found was one of the push rods had a end broke off it didnt hurt the motor. Then he found that 4 outta 8 wires wher wired wrong all fixed now.Now the cam is in and this car will fly like never before.Last time i ran at the strip it ran low 10s now hight 8 and it is a whole new monster.I hope to have new video in the next few weeks.O and now all the bogging down is gone.:bananaman:yahoo::woohoo1::burnout::burnout:

I have done the same thing...ran on 6 cylinders for a couple of years. Just found out a few months ago that I had 2 wires crossed. When I put in 1.7 roller rockers, they didn't want to work with the crossed wires and I was getting an intermittent backfire (the stock rockers didn't backfire, but just smelled like raw gas in the exhaust...)

The car acts like a completely different beast now...
