    My dad used to own a 1972 Comet GT
    You forgot to put the Mercuary Comets and the Ford Mavricks, Mavriks, Mavrics, and all the other way people spell it. You guys should see how much searching I have to do to find them on the classifieds. People mispell them like crazy. I had Ivaverick the other day for Maverick. Also I'd like to say COMET! all the way.:yahoo:

    As they came from the factory, I wouldn't consider either one badazz. There was a heck of a lot more badazz vehicles available when these cars were new. BUT, Dyno Don, Dick Brannan, Wayne Gapp, and Jack Roush showed us they could be "bad." We have to make them badazz. I will choose Maverick simply because of parts availability.

    I like the rear of the Comet and the front of the Maverick. I went with the Maverick because........... I just did.
