Just a couple of hours ago a guy in a minivan failed to yield at a green light and nailed my '71. It's pretty banged up. At a minimum I need: passenger fender apron, passenger fender, front bumper, front valence, gravel shield, passenger side disc brake spindle and associated steering parts, headlight bezel and light, and all the little things to make it all work. This was an original paint car, there's no fixing that. I hope insurance works out for me. Trying to be calm, he admits it was his fault. If they try to total this car, I will fight it.
Yes, I am fine and so is my girlfriend Lindsay, but she does have some lower back pain. We were on our way to get some ice cream on a beautiful Thursday night.
i live in a big city too....sucks to have to worry about getting hit...it's alaways on my mind, i hope you get some money from that clown! to fix ur car!
Elvis, say it isn't so. Man I sure hate that about your car and Lindsys back. You could rub her back for her and make it feel better. Bruce I hope it all works out for you.
Bruce, Sorry to hear about the accident, just remember eben thoiugh you are upset about the car that metal can be fixed, I am glad to hear you both are not seriously hurt

Thanks for the kind words guys. A year ago I might have been more upset about this, but I have realized what some of the important things in life are. Again, thanks for your concern and I'll see about some pictures today.
Sorry to hear about your accident, glad you two managed without any bigger injuries, maybe you should check (at the doctors)Lindsays back right away, in sweden we get any medical stuff covered(the other part will have to pay for any medical expenses) in the insuranse as well... All the best to you and your family!!!
