I have a 1976 Maverick Stallion, and 85 More Mavericks and Comets in Inventory.
My meeting went well today to have the following parts made :

    Headlight bezzles
    Chrome side marker light housings.
    Hood molding.
    Boom-arangs.
    Rear Bumper 1971 Maverick/Comet.

These Parts are going to be made from a Ultra light composit material,, and chromed. This will help in weight reduction for those who race,, and those who have daily drivers we have a re-enforcement that slips in behind the Bumper it self,, Dont get me wrong,,, the bumpers are strong already,, just added protechion is the insert,,, Tuesday They tell me the unit prices for the parts,,, I will be happy to say we are going to have Bumpers at a very sweet price along with the other chrome parts we have wished for,,,:yahoo:

Soon High cost in Chrome for our cars is going to be a thing of the past,,,

Thank you all for your Idea's and help,,, Its great to have a group effort on this,,

    Thank You

    Joe

Yes,,,,and the process is awesome,,,,, these bumper will look like a mirror and will be durrable ass hell,,,the good thing is they have a memory, if you dent it in a day or so depending on how bad,, it will almost disapear,, they are tough and ridged and the backing we are going to make brings it all together,,
If a stone on the way to a Meet or Round up happens to hit your headlight bezzle no dent,,,no marks,, easy and and sweet price if you need to replace it,,,

Its not a Urethane,,, Its the same material they are making the new Fire truck cabs with and EMS vehicles,,, it is ridged and yet will flex to a good degree,, but not easy,, When I first picked up the prototype it felt like Aluminum,,, I have to get the name of it,, when we had the meeting the name was 3feet long,,, but what they can do with this stuff is sweet as hell,,, I am thinking of having a few rear vallances done,,, No more dents and dings,,, and if it gets totally damaged easy to get a new one,, and wont require an arm and a leg,,, the material can be painted with no problem.
I was trying to get all the Chrome parts looked at and decided on,, They say every thing can be done so they have all the sample parts and Tuesday we should have the prices and dates to start the run of parts.

I welcome the light weight bumpers. I'm working on a tilt front end using the stock steel parts and the weight savings will work out great.:dancing:

I welcome any kind of decent valances, front and rear.

My jury is still out on the non-metal bumpers, but I am not closed minded to it.
    Valances in composite are awesome.
They are hard to find in good shape because they are metal and get run into stuff.
They are all bent or dinged up unless you find NOS.

    Thanks Joe...
