I bought this a couple of weeks ago. You all may have seen it on ebay. It has a 302 and it runs real good. It needs a master cylinder before I can take it for a real spin. I was watching it on Ebay and then I showed it to my wife and she said "oh it's a four door, I like that better than the two door" Now I did not agree with her but I did not say a word. I knew right then I could own this car. I am going to restore this for my 7 year old. I will swap the motor after I build it and put it into the 924 Mav and give the four door my 200 I6. I figured my 7 year old does not need the power yet.

Great Father/Son pic on the trailer! Good luck and should be a great "team" project!

You will enjoy the time spent together much more than the car itself. Some of the best days in my life were spent working side by side with my son on his first car, a red '69 XR7 conv. The sight of him driving it down the road the day he got his license was priceless!

Good days are ahead for both of you.

    Jim

I guess you can say local. It was in Abilene Texas. 385 miles a way. A friend of mine rode with me and we did round trip in a day. We left at 7AM and got home at 10PM. If it was any further than I would have passed on it. It is in pretty good shape. It does have some rust but I can work around it.

I was expecting a Fresh Cherries 1:24 model, not a REAL car. Congrats!!!
