autokrafters has nada as far as I can see. Just a cursory glance mind you.
usabodysource has a STOCK hood in F/G and you can add a scoop "for as little as $50 with purchase" but they don't have a cowl hood or one with the 68 HemiDart scoop I lust fo OR the K.I.T.T version with sequential LEDs and "whoo whooo" sound effect.

i know autokrafters had FG grabber hoods but i never remembered seeing anyhing for a comet

with a fiberglass hood and scoop it would be cool to mate them together to look like one piece

I got the impression that usabodysource would mate them for you if you bought the combo...maybe not. Maybe that was wishful thinking.

I would like a GT hood but an original is looking like a pipedream.

when i bought the us body hood that's on my maverick they were advertising in national dragster that they were the only manufacturer the molded the aero scoop right in the hood. it was all 1 piece. that's why i went with them. but i do believe they will also mate any scoop with any hood.:)

What's wrong with the hood besides the fact that it looks better than a Mav hood?

Thanks to Wagesofsin, I have purchased one of the Comet GT hoods he recommended.

Price was $150 with $145 shipping to get it to San Diego, CA. It should be here some time next week. I will post detailed pictures and evaluate fit and finish.

    Thanks for the pointer.

I am slowly gathering parts for the Comet GT clone I hope to build someday. I know, it is a sickness. But It helps to know there are so many other sicko's out there....:D
