924, you don't need it, you already have WAY too many mavericks and parts in your yard...(y)

Seriously, though, I will consider it yours until further notice...

I have a post on a local mustang forum also, so let me know if you decide against it, and I will repost it.

You going to put a new seal in the front of the trans, while the engine is out?

You know, I really haven't decided WHAT I am going to do while the engine is out.

I REALLY need to rebuild the trans, and if finances straighten up while I am putting this thing together, I may just do that.

Otherwise, I may have to ask around what to do at this point...what I CAN do at this point to make the next few months driving as uneventful as possible. That seal is a really good suggestion. Leaks like a sieve anyway...

Well, came out no problem. Found out the hard way that the thin metal sheet hold the converter in, but I got it off without damaging it.

Now is the time to convert it to a manual and cable clutch. :D I talk to some guys at a salvage over the weekend that claimed an 80's F150 hydraulic clutch will work on these cars. It's got an external cylinder that basically retrofits mechanical linkage.

Honestly, i really like this transmission and the way it shifts after my shift kit. I like the ease of being able to adjust where it shifts and being able to put it in D and just putt around. And also being able to shift through the gears when I need to.

I just want to replace all the internal parts and seals so it won't go out on me soon, and get it to STOP LEAKING!!!
