Front Valence is in the works as we speak,, some of the brackets are done already to install it or for the big bumper to small conversion,,
Can't wait for that full cowl panel and floors. Can't wait to see the results. A full door skin wouldn't be a bad either. - Matt
This guy is amazing, we are going to find that cars that once were junk have a chance now!! this can't help but drive more interest in these cars!
Well Joe if you really need more ideas, here are a couple. 1. Full door skins 2. Bracing under floor for bucket seats (These are the channels under car) 3. Spacers for the bucket seat tracks. I need one of the round ones 4. Front floor to cowl panels (toe boards) Once again thanks for your service to the community.
THose are parts we are working on now,,,,,,, Come on,,, you can do better,, Some thing a tad bit harder,,,Lol
humm what about that transmission shifter hump?? ppl are always looking for one when switching from column to floor shifter,,, Ron
Was planning on making the floor pan complete,,, it would have the hump,, but the shipping of it might be the problem,,
The Tunnel Mount (hump) is a seperate bolt on part .... it would not be part of the floor pan ... only used on floor shifter Automatic cars ... It is the green part in this picture ...
So if the car does not come factory Stock with a floor shifter,,,that Part (green) in the pic would not be there,,? it would be a complete floor no holes,, But indented where to cut for converting to floor shift,,or Standard shift car,,? Now if that part you are showing me needs to be made,,, I would need a Sample,, and it could be produced,,:Handshake Sweet Pic,,,,,,, You always have the cool pics,,,,,, How many of that part would need to be made,,? Joe
All the Maverick floors I have seen are DIMPLED to indicate where the cutout should be for a floor shifter. My best guess is that this part is used as reinforcement for the floor shifter. THe picture I posted is of a column to floor shifter conversion I had done. I cut a hole in the factory floor plan and then bolted the hump in place. The shifter is ROCK SOLID once installed .. much more so than if you just bolted it directly to the floor. Manual Tranny cars just have a hole cut in the floor pan .. the shifter is mounted to the tranny so no reinforcement is needed. Most of the time you see a Maverick Floor shifter for sale on eBay ... this part is already attached. I have never been able to find a part number for this peice ... although a similar hump was used on other Ford cars I see no reference for a Maverick specific part in the parts book. All Mavericks used the exact same floor shifter as a 69 Mustang ... which are more readily available so it would be nice to have this hump available seperately.
