    Yes, but you have to show a proficiency in doing the Rebel yell, must be able sing or recite the first verse of Dixie or have a horn on your car that plays Dixie (a la Dukes of Hazzard), and have a signed 8x10 glossy of the original Daisy Duke or Ellie Mae Clampett.

    Okay, Class. Here is a list of the states that were part of the Confederate States of America and these states are considered to make up Dixie. Going from west to east:

    Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia.
