Uh, Dan, you named all southers states that are a part of Dixie. You should've mentioned that since you were planning the thing, it was okay for Northern folks since you was/is one.
Okay, Class. Here is a list of the states that were part of the Confederate States of America and these states are considered to make up Dixie. Going from west to east: Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia.
