One of the members put an 80's TBird dash assembly in his car. Very cool! Lots of electronics too.

That would be me. :) You can check out some of the whacky stuff I've done here:

You can do just about anything you want if you are determined enough... ;)

Me? No. The main dash board I used as previously mentioned was from a 1980/81 Thunderbird.

I wouldn't necessarily say putting a new Mustang dash in a Maverick would be 'easy', based on my experience with the T-bird dash...:)

You could design and make your own dash.

The amount of work that has to be involved in Mark's car and that Mustang is making my head hurt. :bouncy:

Nice job there Mark. I think my jaw hit the desk at least four times. That has to be the most accessory-laden Mav there is.

And to think ... yesterday I was in the salvage yard and looking at taking the quantum leap to intermittant wipers... after looking at your car, the whole idea seems pretty puny ... :rofl2:

I think your reaction is the same I had looking at that Mustang. It makes what I did look like crap! :) But hey...he doesn't have fully electronic climate control! (I don't have pics of that on my site yet...)

One word that comes to mind when I think about all the stuff I did to my Maverick....wires...lots of wires... :)

    Two questions:

    1) What issue was this article in, June 2008?

    2) Does anybody know if the interior dimensions of a Maverick are the same as a 1969 Mustang?
