    well i finally got a mav its a 74 with a 73 bumper conversion.
and i got it fer FREE:clap:i stripped the rug out and its rust free! also the rear qwarters are too and so is the trunk! the underside of the car looks like new and the torq boxes are solid! he took the spoiler,hood,302,and fenders off the car and gave me the body.now the weard part? the car has no air conditioning
and as i stated the boxes are solid but it has a 3 1/2 in rust hole right in between the wiring harness and master cylinder? why in the world would it rust there and no where else? and where would the water have come from? :hmmm:eny info would be helpfull and im going to take pics of the problem next week.

    Nice find!

It is possible the master cylinder leaked which then caused the paint to come off. This left bare metal for the rust to form.

Exactly what I was thinking.....I've seen some bad rust caused by leaking master cylinders.

Maybe the cowl collected water... did you pour water down the windshield? Try that and see where it goes. Just a glass full...

Well, if you decide you don't wanna keep it because of the rust, I'll pay you twice what you got it for.
