I hope to be at the Waco meet again this year as well. I've got the quite the list of to-do's before I can go though. 2 weeks later I am making the trip back to Biloxi for Cruisin the Coast. Anyone wanna go?

I'm hopeful for the Waco meet. MAYBE this time with my car... doubt it, but maybe.

Ed or Scott or Alan: Since I'm not going to be able to make it, if one of you guys have someone to drive "Buttercup" to the event, I'll pay the way - just to have a good showing of Mavericks.

I would be honored, but I don't want to be responsible for any damage.

Why don't you just come home for a week and bring the pretty lady in yourself?

Scott, I can understand your concern but wouldn't hold you responsible. She needs a good "blowing out" (that means getting it up to 70 mph downhill). Ed (fan2488 for others) has been kind enough to take her out a couple of times for me :)bowdown: to Ed).

As far as taking her out myself, I plan to come home around October. I hope to use Buttercup as my DD and make a trek to the '70 (it's in storage at my brother's garage in LA now) to run it down the track.

I hope to see all you TX guys then. :Handshake

All praises to ace/anal restorer and good friend, Dan Hines.

All you have to do to get attention with yours is crank 'er up! :yup:

My little 6 banger is hardly louder than a silent fart ('sorry', again Dan for taking off the Blow Blaster ;))

Dan, how is Colton's "Blue Thunder" holding up? Just fine, I hope. :drive:

Rick: maybe the Heart of Texas Mustangs will have the show in October and you can take your Maverick to our mini-meet! :drive:

I just emailed their treasurer...the president didn't reply yet. Maybe I will get a date for you all. (If it's like last year, they won't know yet)!

That's good to hear Chris. We'll have to get together again.
Scott...you guys are thinking about coming to Cruising The Coast? That would be great if you do. You would have a great time...it's awesome!
