If I could find something that doesn't need a ton of body work or interior stuff, Id be interested... otherwise I dont plan on taking on another project like I had.
Thanks everyone we had a great time, I hope we can do it again I'm trying to figure out how to make a trailer to hold both cars dam trailer queens I can hear it now
Tom you could always get a really big car hauler. Fill it with rust free California cars and bring them to the Rust Belt (Midwest) to sell and pay for the trip.
There's an idea. I know it's cheaper for me to trailer mine than to take two cars (where'd this 3rd kid come from? ), with the van getting 23mpg or so on the highway.
wow just two? what about me? or better yet you drive one and then put mine on the trailer? lol! i got a c4 you have a 5 speed.
My truck got 14 mpg on the way home pulling my car. I got about 5 MPG driving my heap around JOPLIN. I have often thought about a 2 car hauler, but where to keep it when not traveling mine is always in the way now.
Do you have a 4.6 or 5.4? I get a little over 14 towing with my 351. Many guys that I have talked to have complained about poor mileage with the 5.4's.
