Well my simple little cam swap wasn't so simple. Last time I posted I had just got my new DART heads. After burning the midnite oil to make the national open here at Bremerton raceway at about 2 am after torqueing the heads, we came to the realizeation that it would not happen. The problem I found was that the push rod holes were drilled in the wrong location. So off came the heads and back to Dart the went. After a few weeks ( 4 th of july messed with shipping times) I got my heads back on monday the 28th. Now the car is put back together, with a few more performance parts like new comp ultra gold roller rockers and stud girdle. The lunatti 292 cam sounds AWSOME now I cant wait until next weekend to see what will run now. I'll keep you all posted. Next step is to install the 9in rear that I just rebuilt with a spool and 456 gears.:thumbs2:

I talked to DART and they said they had machine malfunction, they said the thought they got all the bad heads but a few got out the door before they cought the problem. They did give me a new set of valve seals because I shipped the head back bare.I also got a new head gasket set and they did pay for all shipping expenses.
