I replaced the fuel filter and messed with the fuel/air ratio and also adjusted the choke. so after a combination of the above it is running fine. I just always thought it was something more involved than that, and having no mechanic abilities, I never messed with it. My dad finally had free time and was able to lend a hand. Thank God for Dads!!!

I have no mechanical abilities either, best way to learn is to get in there and do! My thought is: its already broke
    Glad you got it :)

Well it was short lived but fun! the car took a poop on the way home from work today!!:( Without warning it started knocking really bad. I pulled over to check it out because it really sounded like the fan was hitting something. I found nothing. tried to drive it to a safer location, but to no avail. it went about another 20 feet or so and threw in the towel. I was about 30 miles from home. I had to find someone with a trailor, at the same time try and get some sleep for work again tonight! so pretty soon a friend of a friend is going to trailor it to the house.
    Sad Day

I already have a 250 that I bought awhile ago that I was going to hop up with classic inline's parts but I am just going to put it in as is right now. I have no way of justifying the purchase of a 302 with my wife when I have a 250 just hangin out! If you know what I mean.

Plus, from the beginning, I wanted to stay with the six. Since alot of people put in the V8 I wanted to stay within the minority! HAHA
