Is there anywere that has the gaskets that go between the lenses and the light housing if not what have ya'll done
just find you some good used ones. there's plenty to be had since these tail lights seem to multiply on their own, lol
Auto Krafters now sells them as a repop. They are grey instead of white foam. I am working with thm on getting the white foam.
There are enough people parting those cars out that they are not necessary. I will have to see if they are interested in doing those.
i'm looking for the ones that go between the lense and the housing not the one between the housing and car is that what your saying auto krafters has?
Hey Blu - I used some of those gaskets to start a fire when it got cold last week. Are you saying I shouldn't have done that?
Mean_maverick, you're not kidding. I went in one of my donor cars last week (finally!) to find parts to finance my maverick addiction and all there was inside were taillights and grill lights and headlamps. lots...like rabbits tbuck, I'll take a look this weekend and post back if i have a good set.
i would think a hardware or craft store would stock simular foam, if not better, that you could just cut to size
Here is what they have: We now have the taillight to body pads for 70-77 Maverick. The part number is D0DZ-13420B, $9.95 a pair.
