Gene it is always great to sit in the chairs at the deep end of the pool and watch the wild bunch in the pool. Also bring chairs for the parking lot Gatherings at night.

 

Thanks for the tip on the chairs. It may have been mentioned before but I have slept since then.

 

I see a Braums when I google earth and go street view

 

I don't remember the Braums. But I do remember Big R's BBQ and Pizza by Stout! And hanging out with my son and John at Backyard Burger.

 

I saw the Back Yard burger too. The Braums is down a little further on the other side of the street.

 

Is there a code for a special rate at the La Q? It's showing $81 a night.

 

You probably need to call them 417-781-0500 and mention the Maverick Comet Group and the special rate is $69 per night.

 

You have to call them and tell them you are with the Maverick Comet Group to get the group rate of $69.

The wife wants to call back and get a suite . She says the budget rooms are too small.

 

For how many people? BTW they have the most comfortable beds! And a flat screen TV.

 

We try to stay at LQ's when we travel. There will be 3 or 4 of us. The kids will be the ones enjoying the tv i'm thinking

 

They are going to like the indoor and outdoor pools as well.
