    Looks like a nice sunny weekend up here. 5 or 6 degrees. Plan is to get the front bumper and valence on and the front and rear glass trim. Finish the interior and clean it up. That would make me a happy camper if I get that accomplished. I'll take some pics on Sunday.

    And the reason I left Ontario was...

    ...to get away from the bitter winters!!!

    Now B.C. has entered an ice age... might be global warming, might be that once per century cycle where we get real winters and heavy snowfall for 10-20 years. Now apparently, we're into it...

    This has been the longest, coldest winter I can remember here... dumped snow again yesterday... traffic hell in the morning with 5 inches of snow and another gang-banger shot down on a sidewalk for morning rush hour (today it was 2 more drug dealers during morning rush hour).

    It's so cold & dry my car door froze OPEN this morning... had to strap it closed till I was 1/2 way to work. They've been using lotsa salt this year too...

    And why, do you think, that I drive to work to and fro every day amidst $100,000 Mercedes, Porsches, Audis and BMWs and they look at me like I'm a lloney driving a "collector car" in the ice and snow...

    and NONE OF US HAVE SNOW TIRES.... because we're just too proud of the fancy mags on our sporty SUV's and luxury cars to put the ugly ice treads on... waiting for the next rainfall... and Quebec bought em all up last year.

    These are the reasons my family left Ontario... mebbe we should move back???

    I haven't worked on my V-8 Comet in 3 months and it's making me fruity. But spring is only 2 weeks away... the mild weather and spring sunshine will bring an end to winter and... at the rate the gangsters are wasting eachother... it'll all be over and safer for us to cruise the streets again.

    <sigh>

    whisky, your sarcasm had me roflmao. I am hoping for warm weather too. I have been staring at the same darned snow for nearly 5 months. We got another 6-8 inches last night and it just bummed me out. Anyways, at least time changed for us and the days are longer. :yup:

    Global Warming, ha! Looks like Al Gore's report on Global Warming just doesn't hold water. And to think he just won a Nobel Prize for his slide show on it. Go figure.

    Thats great Ron. Hope to have mine out for a snort for the first time since I drove it to work and stripped it down 16 months ago. Moved it around the lot at work a lot but this will be its first trip on the road. :bananaman

    Yup... go figure... same reason Arafat got the Nobel Peace Prize... but if I type the next thing I'm thinking this will become a political discussion and I'll get spanked.

    However...speaking of holding water... there is a report that bio-fuel is bad for classic cars in cold weather... adverse effects on the whole fuel system... methinks I'll start a new thread on that if it hasn't already been done...
