Anyone Seen This Wind Deflector

    I went to the junkyard today hoping to find a few needed parts and I couldn't help to notice this wind deflector(?) on a 74 4-door. I'm guessing maybe it's a JC Whitney special :huh:

    The 74 has a nice grille along with a straight body. The white 77 has a V8. The Comet is...a Comet

    Absolutely and 100% yes I have. My great aunt had a 4 door Comet with them on it. She said she special ordered the car through her husbands Ford connections. Wind wings. One of my earliest threads here was about those.

    Something told me that I should have grabbed them...I need to go back and get them before someone else gets them. They still are tight at the hinges. They don't look like cheap aftermarket crap. Here is a better pic.

    There's a 73 LDO with a good Grille but two of the top mounting tangs are cracked. Easy fix with metal backing and epoxy glue. I have no idea (until Jamie tells us tomorrow) what they charge for a grille. I learned from experience that shipping a grille w/parking lamps from California to Georgia is very expensive like $78
