In my experience Holley makes power and Edelbrock is for driving.

In my experience, Edelbrocks are easier to work with out of the box. Minor adjustments are relatively easy, but you run out of adjustment range quicker than with a Holley.

Holleys are a little more difficult to learn because they have much more adjustability, but they are almost infinitely adjustable (within reason, of course).

So, if you have a basic setup and you want to bang on the streets, I would go edelbrock, but if you like to tinker and want to get every last bit of GO out of your car, and have some moderate mechanical ability and patience, go for the holley.

Or, you can be like me, and start with a street banger with an Edelbrock, then outgrow it and end up with a Holley that I can continue to tune.

The Holley 450's are tuned specifically for tunnel ram setups. The Edelbrocks aren't.

I LIKE DEMON CARBS WHICH ARE BASED ON HOLLEYS...

I have had great luck with them....

I know there are some who have not....

I can tune a demon but I have an issue tuning holleys....

I guess since I started out with demons......

I suspect many who mess with demons and walk away dissatisfied have tuned holleys for most of their life.........
