looks nice. how hard is it to do that stuff? workin with metal is fun, so far as making patches. i figure stuff like these things would be fun too.
anyways, lookin good, your talent should work out great for both you and the mav/comet community.

Nope, unfortunately not that you would need a stamping machine. I dont have access to one of those.

You are talking to the wrong people. Plenty of shops will replate these. Look for a shop that does POT METAL.

haw about a cross bar to utilize a rack & pinion steering set up, make it semi universal so you can get out of the small Mav/Com niche. Good trans cross members (stock & swap) that type of stuff, If I had access to a verticle mill again, that's what I'd be doing. I like the idea for the monte bar and connectors, nothing really out there, shock / spring plates for the guys that are going 8.8, doesn't need to be vehicle specific. BTW, machining has been going down hill for a while, if you can get into the custom stuff and step away from the CNC, may find a hold

    Here you go:

J & P Plating in Portland, IN (do a search...I have posted their info somewhere I think)

Also: Custom Metal Finishing in Hagarstown, IN can do them.

wow... 5 pages of replies already.... that'll keep you busy.... :bouncy:

I want a clutch and brake pedal assembly so I can stick a stick in my Comet... I'm sure there are a lot of people who'd like 'em too...

and also the brackets since my I6 will eventually be a V8.

How about some door handles with cool lightening holes drilled in them? Or maybe a different door handle design altogether?

Door handles are actually one of the precious few things that are reproduced, thanks to sharing them with '67-'68 Mustangs.
